The Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ was founded and established in 1952 by Pastor S.J. (Simmie) Davis as the Lord had revealed to him God is not a “trinity” of persons, but God himself is a Spirit and he has committed all the provisions of redemption through the person of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ!

Understanding then the necessity to preach God in His “oneness” and the importance of preaching baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, he left the Church of God organization and was faithful to declare the truths he had believed. In his latter years he was given the the understanding that God had sent his end-time messenger, Bro William Branham, as declared in the book of Malachi 4:5-6. He was then drawn to the teachings of Bro Raymond Jackson, a follower of Bro Branham, and became convinced that the Lord was using those ministries to help prepare the church for the Lord’s return.

We continue to preach and pursue the precious truths’ that these faithful men of God enlightened our hearts to uphold. We believe God is still the same and scripture instructs that we must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ to have our sins remitted and then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and let him instruct us to live a holy, submitted life that would be pleasing to him! The invitation he gives Is to “whosoever will” let him come! He is faithful to His promise!
